Bedworth
Bedworth is a market town in North Warwickshire, located between Nuneaton and Coventry. The town has a population of 32,000.
Recreation
The Bedworth Civic Hall, located in the town centre, provides facilities for a range of activities and has a gallery space, meeting rooms and bistro, in addition to its multi-purpose 800 seat hall.
The town has a non-league football team, Bedworth United, who play at the Oval Ground. There is also a thriving Sunday League football scene with teams from Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire playing in the Nuneaton & District Sunday Football League.
Bedworth Rugby Club plays in the Midlands 2 West (South) division.
Set in the Miners Welfare Park, Bedworth Leisure Centre boasts a 25-metre pool and learner pool, an 81-metre flume, a ladies only gym, a fitness studio with over 4 stations, dance studio, crèche and cafe facilities. They also have outdoor facilities including a floodlit football pitch, a skate and BMX park with seven pieces of equipment, tennis courts and pitch and putt facilities.
Transport
The town has excellent transport links, being close to the M6, M42, M69 and A5 trunk road. The A444 provides a high-speed route out to the south of the city including access to the M6 and Coventry. The A47 links the town with Leicestershire.
The town is served by the Coventry to Nuneaton railway line.
There are also good bus links to the Nuneaton and the centre of Coventry.
The nearest international airports are East Midlands and Birmingham International.
